Hands On Trainer Unit: HOT LNG — LNG Operations Trainer

Learn the fundamentals of LNG operations. This unit emulates refrigeration, compression, vaporization, and processes used by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facilities. Operators learn unit startup and shutdown, and continuous operations, using the procedures that accompany the unit. The unit includes:

  • Compressors
  • Heat Exchangers
  • Pump
  • Water Heater
  • Vessels
  • Control Valves
  • Gauges, valves, sensors and controllers
  • Emerson Delta V Distributed Control System (DCS)

We design and build Hands On Training (H.O.T.) Units™ for engineering and Process Technology programs at colleges and universities, as well as for Basic Operator Training programs. The units are engineered, designed and fabricated to industry specifications.

The instrumentation and automation equipment are from the same manufacturers and the same models as those commonly found throughout the refining and chemical process industry. Control valve stations, pump configurations, piping and structure are all built to industrial standards. Each unit is provided with a curriculum of over 100 specific real world procedures and exercises.

You can also extend the curriculum to supplement the standard learning objectives provided with the hands-on trainer unit. This includes process equipment animations that detail the inner workings of equipment and have drag-and-drop exercises along with quizzes. You may purchase these as an additional package, or you may purchase each piece a la carte with your Glycol Distillation Trainer.

Proudly designed and built in the USA.
