Instrumentation

Learn about the cryogenic stages and LNG fundamentals. This unit demonstrates cooldown, compression, liquefaction, and vaporization used by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facilities. Operators learn unit startup, shutdown, and continuous operations using the detailed procedures that accompany the unit.

Trainer Specifications

The trainer is 10′ L x 6′ W  10′ H and built from welded, structural steel. It sits on an industrial grating work surface, and the process piping is welded, flanged and insulated. This hands-on training unit requires: 

  • Concrete pad or building able to accommodate the unit
  • 480V 3 phase (100 Amp)
  • 240V single phase (50 Amp)
  • Dry instrument air
